Here in Brazil we can ride on the “highways” or “Autoroutes”. I know in Europe it’s forbidden. The roads are good here as you see because they are kept by private companies.
Helmet is safety! Congratulations!
Thank you! Safety comes first always!
Thank you!
We used “velcro” tapes passing them through the “vents”.
this is a great video
how did you attach your camera to your helmet?
I have been 55 miles per hour without a Helmet on my Road bike I scared myself that much I went out the next day and bought myself one!!!
For sure i love downhill on anything with wheels whether its a longboard or bike. nice vid
wow!!! beautifull road. In england there are very few perfect roads like that very nice.
There is something about this video that I just can’t help but like. Satriani as the background music makes for a perfect scene. Cool video man.
You’re absolutely right!
When I’m climbing a good hill I’m always think about the reward (the downhill)!
you can only really enjoy downhills if you’ve earned them (by climbing up one to begin with)
that is a nice smooth road!
I’m happy to see you’re wearing your helmet!!!!
Come on if you can handel a road bike then you can hanle the speed too. BEsides your just driving forward that´s all.
My fastest downhill with mountain bike was
86.7 km/h in Slovenia from Rakitna. it`s about
8 km long downhill. very fast road with good asphalt grip. i hope in the future i`ll go even faster with new slick tires.
You’re right, thats not that fast. We did 67 kph at the end. I myself got 85 kph in another hill but no camera.
We attached the camera using “velcro” tapes passing them through the “vents” (holes) of the helmet. Try it!You’ll love it!
mate, thats not really that fast… i’ve managed to get up to 82kph (over 50mph) and that hill was no where near as long as that!
hell, most competent road bikers can make 50kph on a flat.
how did you attach the camera to your helmet though? i would love to do that!
Wow, too cool. I’m super friggin jealous!
Damn, that was fast. I’m not ready to bomb hills that fast yet… I can’t keep my hands off the brakes!
Hi bikeda2,
A lot of fun when it’s possible!
As we say in here: Work kills, bike is healthy! Thank you
Sweet!!
Looks like you had fun.
I ride a Trek 5500 Full Campy Record groupo.
I like your comments at the video end.
Always !!! At the end of the downhill it was 72,5 km/h (45 mi/h), really fast. Regards!
Obrigado! Gravamos em um domingo de manhã, então sem movimento. Deu um certo “trabalho” fixar a camera no capacete … Usamos fitas de velcro. Também amarramos a “cordinha” dela ao capacete.
Abraços,
